About the role:

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Affairs Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Director Regulatory, Medical Affairs and Quality Management, in this exciting role, you will be responsible for answering enquires from both internal and external customers, and providing relevant medical information for all our company products. In addition, this role is responsible for accurate reporting of any adverse events occurring within Australia and New Zealand.

 

If you are an experienced Pharmacist or have a degree in Medical Science, and would like to be part of a dynamic team, then this role is for you.

 

In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Medical Information: maintaining the Medical Information database of enquires received and ensuring medical information telephone lines are manned. You will be involved in in-house professional education programs and conducting clinical education training. You will also participate in Promotional Material reviews and coordinate the Special Access Scheme for unregistered products, plus maintain the knowledge and reference library.

     

  • Knowledge and Compliance: you will be required to possess a strong knowledge of Pharmacovigilance requirements, and to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant Fresenius Kabi products, the market environment, prescribing practices and competitors offerings. It is also essential to be fully compliant with internal policies and guidelines and Code of Conduct applicable to the industry.

What we are looking for:

 

  • A Pharmacy degree or other relevant tertiary qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Ability to interpret and critically evaluate medical literature
  • Knowledge of TGA and PBS
  • Understanding of GxP and quality systems
